Another Monday

Our weekend was pretty fun, but I spent a little more than I anticipated on maternity clothes. I couldn't help it, I wanted one of everything at Old Navy. They have the coolest prego clothes.

Today my hormones kicked in & I wanted to just tell everyone to leave me the hell alone. For some odd reason, everyone I work with just rubbed me the wrong way today. They just irritated the hell outta me. I suppose it's because the computers were not working properly, and all I heard today was complaining. Grrr. but I got over it once I got home to see the Hot Husband & he agreed to save the day & look at the computers. He rocks. He fixed our problems in 10 minutes...the same problem we hired someone to work on for the last week.... So HH, thanx again!

Over the weekend, I felt what I believe to be our baby moving around. I could be wrong, but everyone says it's like bubbles, or butterflies, & I just had this odd feeling, good of course, just something I've never felt before. I figure in the next few weeks (I'll be 16 weeks on Wednesday) I'll start to feel it more, so I'll know what to look for, feel for, or whatever:) Needless to say, it was pretty exciting for us!

For those of you who have been avid readers of HH's blog, you've probably read plenty of posts about our crazy, drunk nights that always started at our favorite bar. I have some sad news to report, that this Saturday we are closing the doors. It's a great place & had such great potential, but management sucked & they didn't know how to run an establishment of that size. Either way, I'm glad we had our time & we'll have plenty of stories to never tell our kids about:)
We're going there on Friday for one last hurrah. Is that how you spell it? HH can do a few Jager Bombs, & can do a few water bombs:)

One of my sisters is trying to get pregnant right now, she has a 5 month old, so this is like the new generation of little ones in our family. It's pretty cool that they will be close in age as our baby. Speaking of our baby, let me tell you about an odd experience I had today:

I was visiting one of my work locations today, and the manager (who has told me in the past she's slightly psychic) was just going crazy over my baby bump. You'd have to meet her to understand, she's quite a lively character. Anyways, she insists that we are having twins. After asking to feel my stomach muscles & asking me to take deep breaths, she said she just knows the feeling of twins. And then she said she predicts I'll be in labor for 1-1/2 hours, and our baby will have red hair. WHAT??????????????? We don't have red hair. I think she's nuts, but whatever. And 1-1/2 hours? More like 1-1/2 days! Who knows, but I'd freak out if any of it came true. I suppose this is enuf babbleing for one evening. Thanks for reading!

I am in awe. 1-1/2 hours labour?! That's a dream come true for any female. Fingers are crossed that maybe the psychic lady is right... but the red hair part? Interesting...

I will turn green with envy if your labor lasts that long. With my luck, by the time I have kids, it'll take two days.

I know she's crazy to think 1-1/2 hours. Like I said she's quite a character.... I go for my ultrasound in 4 weeks, so hopefully we can put this "twins" thing to rest!
