Beautiful Sunday

It is so beautiful outside today, so we decided to take a bike ride & pull out the hammocks & get some sun. HH is still out there, but I'm taking a break to cool down.

Everything went really well at the doctor on Friday, the baby's heartbeat is 140 beats per minute, both of us are healthy & I've gained 3 lbs. I've decided I need to really watch what I eat (usually I'm really good) and make sure I get enuf exercise...but I can't believe how much energy this kid takes away from me. we walk around a few blocks & I feel like my legs are going to fall off.

I have to get back to using my Pregnancy Yoga DVD, it's just a pain in the ass, because you always have to unhook the cable, to hook up the DVD player blah blah blah. Excuses, excuses.

Friday after the doctor, we worked on the nursery & pretty much finished most of the painting yesterday. We also have new carpeting coming next Friday, so we've got a lot of work to do this week. Ugh. Plus it's my last week of school, as long as I pass my test on Wednesday!!!!! Then last night my sister & I went out to eat at a really nice restaurant in town. I went all out & splurged on the Filet Mignon...& the cheesecake & it was worth every penny!

Sorry this post isn't extremely interesting, just thought I'd sum up my weekend & let you know how the doc went. HH just came in & we're off to nap!

Glad the appt. went well. It's always so reassuring to hear that heartbeat. Just wait until you have an ultrasound! Those are the coolest. The pictures that I got at my 18 week appt. really looked like my babies when they were born. Especially their mouths. Very cool.

And the nursery looks great. You two are very creative!

Don't stress too much about the weight. You'll lose it afterwards. Just enjoy being pregnant. There's nothing quite like it.

I have to wait until my 20 week appt to do the ultrasound, just to make sure they can tell the sex of the baby. We can't wait:)I always said I was going to be the happiest woman around when I became pregnant. I find myself humming a lot & I'm not going to worry too much about weight gain. I'm just going to enjoy this experience to the fullest!
